Meet Our New Service Manager, Colin Fredrick!

Meet our new Service Manager, Colin Fredrick! 

We are excited to welcome Colin into the position of Service Manager at Eide Kia. He first joined our team in 2009 as a Lube Technician at the Eide Ford Mandan location. In 2011 he moved to dispatcher/car porter, and then in 2012 was promoted to service advisor, and stayed in that position, building strong relationships with our customers until 2024. He then rejoined our team at Eide Kia in May of 2025 as a service advisor, and was then promoted to Service Manager in July 2025!

“Eide is a great company to work for, and I am glad to be back a part of the family,” says Colin. “Every member of the management team is incredibly smart, who have your best interest at heart; they want to help you set and maintain goals, and they want to see you succeed.”

“We have created a great work environment here at Eide Kia, especially within our service department,” Colin says. “We are very team oriented, and they are great people to work with; everyone is willing to help, and are hard workers. I trust everyone in our department to get their job done, and I am thankful to be a part of this team.”

“Everyday is different and busy in its own way, and I love that. The change of pace and different events that happen is a good feature of the job. I love always being busy, and working with our staff and our customers.”

As the Service Manager, Colin oversees the shop and all the technicians, works with our advisors and warranty administrator, maintains day to day operations, and ensures that all our customers are treated fairly and taken care of.

“I have learned a lot through my years working in the automotive industry. I can appreciate a good challenge, have a deep appreciation for the people that I work with, and I love working with our customers. I am thankful for everything I learned, and look forward to continuous growth both personally and professionally.”

“As I move into this new role, I am excited to bring our service department back bigger and better than before. Our newly remodeled building has allowed us to have more space in our shop and more technicians, so we can better serve our customers. I am excited to be a part of the growth of the Kia brand in our community, to show them how good of a product it is we offer.”

“I would like to say a special thank you to everyone who has given me the many opportunities through the years to move up and grow in my career, and strengthen my skills, especially to Jesse Peterson, Ryan Else, and Adam Griffith,” says Colin.

“Colin did a nice job leading the department when he was a service advisor, and with his extensive knowledge of the industry and our business, we were thrilled to be able to offer him the position of Service Manager,” says Adam Griffith, General Manager of Eide Kia. “He is great with our employees and our customers, and we are excited to see what he is able to do with our service department at Eide Kia!”

In his spare time, Colin likes to go fishing, travel, coach youth softball, cook, and spend time with his friends and family.
